The Office of New Student & Family Transitions plans, hosts, and executes the programs on this page and reviews each proposal for audience, timing, and fit.

A local experience
Propose a place or activity that helps students learn about Augusta and feel more at home in the region.
A useful service
Share a service or resource with a clear, timely use for new undergraduate students or their families.
A program connection
Ask whether an active NSFT event has room for a community activity, speaker, or other approved contribution.

Start with a clear proposal
- Describe the idea. Tell us what you want students or families to see, learn, or do.
- Name the audience. Explain which new students, families, or program participants the proposal is meant to help.
- List the practical needs. Include possible dates, capacity, accessibility, staffing, transportation, equipment, and material needs.
- Give one contact. Provide one person’s name, organization email, and phone number for follow-up.
Open the Community Partner Interest Form
The form collects organization and contact information so NSFT can review the idea and follow up. Do not include student names, student records, or other sensitive information. Submitting the form does not guarantee participation, payment, or a response by a particular date.
Community partner or paid vendor?
Use community partner interest when
You want to propose a collaborative activity, useful community connection, service, sponsorship, donation, or other contribution for an NSFT program.
Email before using a vendor form when
You expect Augusta University to purchase goods or services, pay a fee, or sign an agreement. The community interest form does not create a purchasing relationship or guarantee work.
When a proposal moves forward, NSFT may need additional university review for space, risk, accessibility, purchasing, or brand requirements. Wait for written confirmation before promoting participation or making commitments.
