The Augusta University community honors the service of our military men and women and is grateful for the sacrifices that they and their families make to protect the freedoms and security that we enjoy. To active duty service members, veterans, dependents, and those who would like to become officers in the U. S. Army, AU provides an affordable, quality education with the resources to help you succeed.

The Office of Military and Veteran Services creates an educational experience for our military-connected students and their families by providing student-centered customer service, open communication, and educational benefit processing.

AU Student Veterans of America

Empowering current and incoming student veterans and other military-affiliated students to stay engaged, informed, and actively participate in chapter operations. To encourage leadership within the organization so that members can continue to serve in leadership positions in the community after graduation from Augusta University.

Augusta Military Advisory Council

Military and Veteran Services is looking for a few good men and women on campus and in the community to create the Augusta University Military Advisory Council (AUMAC). The purpose of the Council is to raise the standard of support and care for AU’s military students. Being a veteran is not a requirement – you simply need a passion for serving those who have so graciously served us. You may email with questions or indicate your interest here.

Augusta University limits academic residency to no more than twenty-five percent of the degree requirements for all degrees for active-duty service members. Academic residency can be completed at any time while active duty service members are enrolled. Reservists and National Guardsmen on active duty are covered in the same manner.
