Staff

Keire Melson (he/him) serves as the Assistant Director for Testing and Disability Services. He began working in the Testing and Disability Services Office in 2023. He coordinates and provides programs, services, and accommodations for students with disabilities at Augusta University. He also assists the Director with program administration, outreach, and advocacy. Keire is a member of the Association on Higher Education And Disability. Before joining TDS, he was a Senior Program Coordinator in the Student Access Office at Vanderbilt University. Keire holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Public Administration from Villanova University.

Kate Galbraith (she/her) serves as one of TDS’s coordinators, working mainly out of Galloway Hall. Kate has been with TDS for nearly two years, with nearly fifteen years experience in the rehabilitation/accommodations field. Kate has her masters in rehabilitation counseling, is a certified rehabilitation counselor, and is working toward becoming a fully licensed mental health counselor. Prior to her work in counseling, Kate worked in ecology research for fifteen years, having earned her masters degree in forestry from UGA. Kate is a native Augustan, returning to Georgia after an over 20-year absence in which she lived in NC, Utah, and Oregon. Kate enjoys backcountry camping, hiking, running, and gardening.

Tiffany Paschal, LCSW is an Atlanta-based clinician and former collegiate scholar-athlete. She holds degrees from Augusta University and Smith College School for Social Work. With a rich background in higher education counseling and accessibility services, Tiffany’s practice is centered on advocacy and self-determination. She is passionate about the "healthy challenge" of adapting to each client's unique story, helping them break through barriers to reach their full potential.

Felicia Johnson (she/her) is a proud Jaguar Alum. She has worked at Augusta University in Testing and Disability Services for more than 15 years. Felicia is responsible for scheduling and administering institutional and national examinations, keeping all testing materials and software updated, reporting, recording and analyzing monthly and fiscal year departmental data, proctoring exams for disability students as needed, and is the current Building Manager for Galloway Hall. 

Carla Holcomb (she/her) serves as the Administrative Assistant for Testing and Disability Services at Augusta University. She provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the office runs efficiently and delivers high-quality service to students, faculty, and staff. Carla enjoys helping others and is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment while facilitating accessible services for all students. In her free time, Carla enjoys gardening, spending time with family, traveling, connecting with others, and being involved in her community

Samantha Wise (she/her) serves as the Office Specialist for Testing and Disability Services in the Greenblatt Library. She earned her bachelor’s in healthcare administration from Georgia Southern University and master’s in public relations from Middle Georgia State University. Samantha is responsible for scheduling and administering Augusta University exams for registered TDS students, keeping all testing materials updated, and supervising the team of student workers.

Clark McDowell (he/him) serves as a Graduate Assistant for Testing and Disability Services at Augusta University. He meets with students to discuss their support needs, coordinates meetings with Disability Services Coordinators, and helps manage department events and outreach initiatives. Clark is pursuing his Master of Education in Counselor Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Augusta University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from the University of Georgia. Prior to joining TDS, Clark worked as a Direct Support Professional with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and interned at a counseling center where he managed appointments and client records, and co-facilitated chronic illness support groups.
