AprilStudents will depart from the United States and begin their journey to Milan, Italy.

AprilUpon arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport, students will be welcomed by their on-site coordinator and transported by private bus to their hotel in the city center. After check-in and settling into their accommodations, which include twin rooms with private bathrooms and daily breakfast, the group will attend an orientation session to prepare for the week ahead. The evening concludes with a welcome dinner at a local restaurant to kick off the cultural and academic experience.

AprilTo begin exploring Milan, students will participate in a guided walking tour that introduces them to some of the city's most iconic landmarks, including the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the renowned Santa Maria delle Grazie. They will also enjoy an in-depth visit to the magnificent Duomo Cathedral, including its rooftop terraces, where they will learn about the nearly 600-year history of its construction and its significance to Milan and the world.

AprilThe day begins with a guided tour of Castello Sforzesco, a medieval fortress that has been transformed into a museum complex showcasing Milan's art and history. Students will have the afternoon free to explore the city at their own pace, whether that means visiting museums, relaxing in a park, or enjoying a cappuccino in one of Milan’s charming piazzas. Optional tickets to a theater performance may also be available for those interested.

AprilToday’s focus is on business and innovation. Students will visit D House Milano, a creative hub that connects students, artisans, designers, and companies to spark responsible innovation. In the afternoon, the group will tour Intesa San Paolo, one of Italy’s largest banking institutions, where they will gain a valuable overview of the Italian economy and financial sector.

AprilStudents will take a day trip by private coach to the nearby city of Turin. The morning features a visit to Guido Gobino, where students will enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the chocolate-making process followed by a tasting session. In the afternoon, the group will meet with a local HR firm to learn about talent development, organizational strategy, and Italy’s approach to workforce management.

AprilBack in Milan, students will visit Fondazione Cariplo, a foundation known for its commitment to social justice and sustainability. This experience offers insight into how corporate social responsibility is practiced in Italy. Later, they will tour the Leonardo da Vinci Museum, home to interactive exhibits and reconstructions of da Vinci’s inventions, offering a deeper appreciation for his genius as both an artist and innovator.

AprilStudents will enjoy a free day to explore Milan independently. Suggested activities include a visit to Parco delle Cave, browsing the shops and galleries in the Brera district, or experiencing the lively street markets in Porta Ticinese. This is a great opportunity for students to personalize their cultural experience and take in the atmosphere of the city at their own pace.

AprilThe group will spend the final full day in Milan reflecting on their experiences and discussing key takeaways from the trip. In the evening, they’ll enjoy a farewell dinner together at a traditional Milanese restaurant, celebrating a successful and enriching week abroad.

AprilAfter breakfast, students will travel by private bus to Milan Malpensa Airport for their return flight to the United States, concluding a memorable journey.
