Independent Student Travel

Explore the World on Your Own Terms.

Are you ready to take your education beyond the classroom? Independent Student Travel (IST) allows students to create personalized international experiences outside of faculty-led programs. Whether you’re studying at a foreign university, conducting research, interning abroad, or engaging in service learning, our office is here to guide you every step of the way. IST students are encouraged to register with the Study Abroad Office at least 3 months before departure to ensure a smooth and successful experience. To receive approval for travel and work abroad, all required forms and documentation must be completed prior to departure.
