This significant investment was primarily aimed at bolstering areas where the university expects to see the most growth in core classes that first- and second-year students need to progress toward their degree, but the funding will also support all areas of enrollment growth through increasing student support in areas.
Neil J. MacKinnon, PhD, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs at Augusta University, and Zach Kelehear, EdD, vice provost for instruction and innovation, are excited to announce this year’s call for collaborative research proposals addressing issues in rural health.
“My mom used to tell me that I needed to stay green. And what she meant by that is to always have a growth mindset, always be growing and trying to improve. Every single program we have put on has been because a student has said 'I need this' or 'I would like to know more about that,'” said Beth Huggins, PhD.
