Multimedia Design

Blend creativity and education providing students with an engaging experience that goes beyond textbooks.

Interactive Learning Modules

Interactive learning modules allow your students to engage with the content independently and control their learning experience.

Gamification

Gamification is more than just creating a game. It is about using the science behind influence and motivation to engage your students.

Videography

We can create six types of videos for faculty to use in their courses.

Augmented Reality

Augmented reality enhances their experience by adding digital information to live video of their surroundings.

Animation

Animation uses sounds, moving visuals and in some cases characters to help you explain complex concepts in a simple way.

Interactive Learning Modules

Interactive learning modules allow your students to engage with the content independently and control their learning experience. Interactive content includes drag-and-drop activities, case studies, role-play scenarios and videos with embedded questions. Our designers will work with you to brainstorm and create engaging activities and assessments that align with your course’s learning objectives.

Gamification

Gamification is more than just creating a game. It is about using the science behind influence and motivation to engage your students. Our gaming experts will work with you to brainstorm and create a learning experience that will motivate your students to study the course content, complete their assignments and ultimately achieve the learning objectives for your course. This learning experience could be as simple as a course activity or assignment with built-in game elements or as complex as a fully-built physical or digital game.

Videography

The videos we create for faculty for use in their courses are:

Educational Explainer Videos

A common type of educational video, explainer videos address a single topic in three minutes or less. These videos consist of faculty delivering the content on camera with graphics or alternative footage intercutting to visually emphasize a point. Our videographers will work with you to develop a script of 500 words or less that clearly explains your topic. There is no reason to worry about being on camera — even if you have never done it before. We will give you tips on how to deliver your script in a natural, conversational way.

Video Stories

Video stories can explain to your students why your subject matter is important. Our videographers will need your help identifying professionals in your field of study or people positively impacted by it who can share their stories. They will then interview those people on camera and produce the video story based on those interviews. Through storytelling and compelling visuals, these videos will show your students why they should care about your course. Once they understand that, they will have a purpose in studying your subject matter.

Scenario Simulation

These videos use scenarios to teach your students concepts and skills they may need if they encounter a similar situation in their professional lives. Scenario simulation videos are usually no longer than 10 minutes. Faculty requesting them recruit volunteers to play the roles in the scenarios, choose the most appropriate environment for filming and collaborate with our videographers to write the script. Volunteers do not need to have on-camera experience. Our videographers will help them throughout the project to ensure the dialogues are natural.

Demonstration Videos

Demonstration videos explain a physical process, step by step, showing students how they can do something specific or how the process works. Our videographers will work with you to develop a script if necessary. In some cases, ad-libbing may produce better results.

Course Introduction/Welcome Videos

Introduction or welcome videos introduce you and the course to your online students. In less than two minutes, you should talk about yourself and briefly discuss why your course matters to students. Our videographers will work with you to develop a script of 200 words or less and identify the proper location for filming. We will also give you tips to ensure the on-camera delivery is natural.

Augmented Reality

Augmented reality (AR) enhances your students’ learning experiences by combining live video of their surroundings with superimposed digital information, including 3D objects, graphics and sounds. You can use this technology to make your lectures more interactive. Students can use their smartphones or tablets, for example, to see graphics popping out of printed maps or images of our muscles and bones superimposed on real people.

Our AR experts will work with you to brainstorm and create AR experiences that engage your students and help them achieve the course’s learning objectives.

2D Animation

2D animation uses sounds, moving visuals and in some cases characters to help you explain complex concepts in a simple way. Using animation in your courses is ideal when you are introducing your students to a new topic. In these situations, sound and visual aid can improve their understanding of the topic. Our 2D animators will work with you to brainstorm and develop the script and look of your project.

It is also easy to learn the basics of animating a character using Adobe Character Animator. If you would like to produce your own animations, our designers can help you get started. Character Animator is available to you for free with your university Creative Cloud subscription.
