Psychological Sciences Advising

Psychology majors have cool classes and wonderful career opportunities. To understand our major thoroughly, please read through the Psychology Undergraduate Handbook (under review).

You must see an advisor every semester prior to registration to be sure you are on track for graduation and get your registration PIN number. If you are a freshman or sophomore you are asked to be advised by the Academic Advising department located in University Hall 262. Please check the Academic Calendar for registration periods during the semester.

Want a graduate mentor?

We have two methods for mentoring: faculty mentoring and graduate student mentoring.

The department encourages you to seek out mentoring about career and course information from the faculty who teach your classes. We know you! You know us! Come see us! See our research profiles to see who you might match up with. We do not formally assign faculty mentors, but all faculty are available for mentoring to our students. We want you to succeed, no matter where your path takes you!

Seek out a faculty mentor who matches your interests:
