Bachelor of Science in Psychology

A BS degree in Psychology prepares students for diverse and rewarding careers through classes in human learning, cognition, social psychology, biological psychology, development, and more. Degree Offerings

The BS Program in Psychological Sciences is designed as a full-time, year-round semester-based program. Program completion requires 124 credit hours with 33 credit hours in major, 64 in general education, and 27 in minor and electives. Most students finish the degree in four years.

Assistantships

The department offers many students the opportunity to work as paid assistants in our introductory lab courses. These students work alongside our faculty helping students and preparing labs. In addition, many of our students work as tutors in the department's Student Tutor Center.
