Wireless

Get connected at Augusta University and AU Health

Augusta University’s preferred wireless network is AU-Secure. AU-Secure is available to anyone with a valid AU NetID. The network is designed for students, faculty, and staff who are mobile network users.

Wi-Fi is available throughout campus in classrooms, offices, green spaces, and numerous buildings. We support three wireless networks for our community, AU-Secure, eduroam, and AU-Guest.

Wireless Green Space

The Green Space Wireless Initiative expands Wi-Fi across the Augusta University and AU Health Sciences campuses and can be accessed using AU-Secure or eduroam. Joining a network in a greenspace should be no different than joining one within an Augusta University facility.

Introduced in response to social distancing guidelines, Augusta University created a broad outdoor Wi-Fi service to allow faculty, staff, and students who may not have access to wireless internet, the ability to join our network from the comfort and safety of their own cars or to connect outdoors while maintaining a six-foot distance from others.
