Hello fellow honors peeps, my name is Riya Patel. I am a sophomore majoring in psychology on the pre-med track. A couple of things about me are that I come from a small, one-stoplight town, can speak 3 languages, write Latin, and speak a bit of survival Spanish. Some of my hobbies include reading, painting, photographing, playing sports, and watching the stars. I chose the honors program because of the small community and wonderful experiences. I'm more than excited to learn about you guys and from you guys!

Hello! My name is Lia Carter, I'm a Sophomore Kinesiology major and Spanish minor from Cumming, GA. I chose honors to challenge myself, as well as for the various academic and leadership opportunities. In my free time I enjoy working out, reading, and crafting. A fun fact about me is that I used to live in Miami and I'm currently learning how to juggle!

My name is Taitum Gossman, and I will be the Social Events Chair on the HPSA board for the 2023-2024 school year! I am a sophomore at Augusta University majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology on the Pre-Med track. The honors program was truly a blessing in my freshman year here at Augusta University, and I cannot wait to provide that same experience for current and incoming members of the program. I have met some of my closest friends in the honors classes and at the events, and because of that, I am so excited to put on wonderful events that may also have the same impact on members! A little about me: I am originally from Perry, Georgia, and I have a passion for music, animals, reading, and cannot wait for the upcoming year school year!

I'm Maia Vaselaros and I'm from Savannah, Georgia. I'm a biology major with a minor in sociology. I chose to be a part of the honors programs because I enjoyed the sense of community it provided. The honors program guided me to make many friends when I first came to college and has given me opportunities. A fun fact about me is that I have a corgi named Big Frank!

Hi. My name is Priyanka Varghese, and I am the social media chair. I am a senior majoring in cell and molecular biology. I joined the Honors program to have classes with fellow honors students, get experience in research, and learn how to write a thesis. The experience of being in the honors program has definitely let me learn a lot of qualities and values that I will take in the future. A fun fact about me is that I have danced since I was 4 years old. 

Hi! My name is Zeal Dobariya, and I am a sophomore cell and molecular biology major with a neuroscience minor. I am from Atlanta, Georgia. A reason why I decided to join the honors program is because I wanted to challenge myself in my academics. I also found that the honors program allowed me to have a sense of community, and it helped me make many of the friends that I currently have. A fun fact about me is that I was born with six fingers on my left hand, unfortunately, I no longer have six fingers.
