The Augusta University Honors Program invites academically motivated and high-potential learners to apply to join our community!

  • As an honors student, you will receive focused advising and early registration privileges so that you can take small classes populated by fellow honors students and taught by some of our best professors. You will also gain 24/7 access to a study and social space in the honors home - the Quad Wall Building.
  • Honors students who complete all requirements and graduate with a GPA of at least 3.30 will receive an honors designation on their diploma and transcript and will be recognized at graduation.
  • The Honors Program will connect you to faculty who will engage you in undergraduate research and creative activities. We will guide you as you collaborate with your faculty mentor to turn your work into an honors project! We will also fund you to travel and present your work at honors conferences as early as your first year in the program and advise you as you compete for scholarships, fellowships, internships, and places in graduate and professional school.

Please note: Due to the curriculum constraints of the Honors Program and the Professional Scholars Program students are unable

to participate in both programs!
