AHA
Funding research is a cornerstone of the American Heart Association’s lifesaving mission. AHA continually adds new timely, mission-related programs for both predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers.
APS
The American Physiological Society is a professional society for physiologists. Its mission is to support research and education in the physiological sciences. Awards are geared towards both predoctoral and postdoctoral members.
ASN
The American Society of Nephrology leads the fight against kidney disease by educating health professionals and advancing research. Fellowships are available at the predoctoral and postdoctoral level. Awards are also available for postdoctoral scientists seeking to transition to an independent faculty position.
NIH
The National Institutes of Health Research Training and Career Development programs help prepare individuals for careers in biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research. GrantEdge
GrantEdge prepares trainees to compete for external funding by demystifying the grant process and providing structured, hands-on support. From identifying funding opportunities to proposal development and submission, participants gain practical experience, expert feedback, and mock review experiences. In partnership with the Center for Writing Excellence, GrantEdge equips trainees to produce stronger, more competitive proposals.
