Virtual Interview Process
In response to the Association of American Medical College’s (AAMC) recommendations
for 2023-2024 interview season, our residency program will host virtual interviews
only. All interviews will be conducted virtually with no evaluative in-person activities.
Virtual interviews will take place from October through January.
We look forward to this 2023-2024 interview season!
How to Apply:
- Apply to our Program via Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).
- Program Recruitment Committee will review all applications and send invitations to
those applicants they are interested in interviewing via email.
- When applicant receives offer to interview, they will have the option to choose their
interview date and move around as necessary to accommodate schedules.
- A week prior to scheduled interview date, program will email all scheduled applicants
with interview information.

Minimum Requirements for Consideration:
- Successfully passed USMLE or COMLEX Step 1 to be considered for an interview.
- Successfully passed USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 (CS/CK) or COMLEX Level 1 and Level 2
(CE/PE) by rank deadline.
- Receive passing scores on the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK with no more than three combined
attempts or the COMLEX Level 1 and COMLEX Level 2 CE with no more than three combined
attempts.
- Graduated from an accredited medical school within the past 3 years. Documented experience
in meaningful clinical work, education and/or research in the interim is required.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
- IMG students must have at least 1 year of documented clinical training in the U.S.
An observership does not count towards this requirement.
- Must have a valid ECFMG certificate or expect certification no later than June 1.
