Our Graduates

Kate Young, MD

Next Step: Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program

During residency, Dr. Young enjoyed honing her skills in MSK procedures, the excitement of attending the Masters Tournament, presenting at Family Medicine National Conference (FMX) in Washington DC, and spending time at Lake Thurmond. She recommends future residents check out the GA and SC state parks, Mount Vintage Golf Course, and Namaste Indian grill. After the Family and Community Medicine residency, Young feels very well prepared for outpatient service.

Hyunjin Song, MD

Next Step: Northside Hospital, Atlanta, GA

Dr. Song enjoyed the Savannah Retreat, a time for the residents to connect and get to know one another. Augusta is a beautiful city, from nature to the culture, and Dr. Song encourages future residents to check out the Savannah River and Riverwalk. Through his time as a Family and Community Medicine resident, he feels well prepared for procedures, administrative work, patient complexities, and large patient volume.
