Research Faculty
Qualified individuals can be appointed for a research faculty track. These individuals are singled out because they have distinguished themselves with their publication record and professional achievements.
Promotion to this rank allows research faculty to be competitive for extramural funding. These non-permanent positions allow the appointee to secure sufficient resources to aggressively compete in the job market for tenure-track, academic faculty jobs and advance their professional careers.
