The BSN program provides students the knowledge, skills, and abilities to function effectively in all areas of nursing practice through quality instruction and clinical experiences.

The program provides students the opportunity to apply didactic knowledge in a variety of hands-on and simulated clinical settings, and lays the groundwork for continuing one's professional education at the graduate level. The BSN program is taught on the Augusta and Athens campuses.

Augusta University College of Nursing BSN program is approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

Graduates of the BSN program are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN to obtain the professional state license, Registered Nurse (RN). Graduates of the College of Nursing BSN program may take the exam for a Registered Nurse license in the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia, and four U.S. territories: American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and the Virgin Islands.
