The Literacy Center is opening doors to academic achievement by providing no-cost literacy instruction for 1st – 12th grade students in Richmond County. In addition, it offers free, volunteer-led adult literacy and computer skills classes and partners with Augusta Technical College to support GED and English language programs. Through initiatives such as Get Georgia Reading: Augusta, the Center brings together educators and community leaders to advance effective, research-based literacy strategies.
