The Office of Innovation Commercialization

The Office of Innovation Commercialization is proud to host the Life Sciences Business Development Center - a 14,000 square-foot faculty that includes wet labs, office shared equipment, common areas, and a lively atmosphere for innovation - all dedicated to incubating great ideas through its innovation startup companies. We are excited to be closely involved in Augusta University intellectual property commercialization-related activities with companies from the Fortune 100 to the newest startup firm.

Military Connections

Augusta University faculty and staff at the Fort Eisenhower site and larger AU community appreciate the sacrifices that they and their families make to protect the freedoms and security that we enjoy. To assist them in their educational goals, we offer Bachelor of Science Information Technology, Cyber Security classes at Fort Eisenhower, ACES.

Those service members interested in other majors will find almost 150 degree and certificate programs in departments on the Summerville and Health Sciences campuses (located only 20 minutes from Ft. Eisenhower). Advisors at the Ft. Eisenhower site offer a broad range of services at the site including admissions, financial aid, VA benefits, tuition assistance, and can also connect prospective students to specialized services offered by professionals in each.

GA Cyber Innovation & Training Center

The mission of the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences is to provide high-engagement, state-of-the-art technology education and research across its computer science, information technology, and cybersecurity disciplines. Our academic programs have been recognized nationally as the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences is a designated Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense, a designation sponsored by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security. Juniors and seniors in the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences have the privilege of taking courses in the Georgia Cyber Center, where they have the opportunity to work alongside industry and government professionals here in the Georgia Cyber Center.
