EMS Fellowship Application Process

We are glad you are interested in our program at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and believe that you will find our program to be a unique and robust training opportunity. 

We encourage you to review the Augusta University MCG EMS Fellowship Program Packet and by reviewing the Augusta University Emergency Medicine Department’s website to learn more about the EMS fellowship program.  

Requirements for consideration:

  • Eligible for Georgia Licensure
  • Board certified/board eligible ABEM or AOBEM and/or
  • Must have completed a U.S. ACGME-accredited Residency Program in Emergency Medicine

We welcome you to apply for our program.  To do so, please submit the following listing of documents to emsfellowship@augusta.edu by no later than September 1st. 

  • GME Application
  • CV
  • Personal Statement
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation

 With receipt of your application, we will review it thoroughly and will provide additional information in time as to next steps.  Interviews will be scheduled for October and early November as necessary. No candidate will be required to accept an offer prior to November 15. While an offer may be made prior to then, a response is not required.  We know that this is a unique and potentially challenging process.  Please advise if you have any questions or need assistance.
