The EMS Academy offers a comprehensive curriculum for every level of prehospital care provider in a variety of learning platforms. Courses prepare students to better serve their patients by teaching the most current curriculum and certifications available in the industry. All instructors have extensive experience in pre-hospital medicine and hold certifications in their respective disciplines.
NREMT & Critical Care
The Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University Center of Operational Medicine supports local, state, national, and international EMS providers through the EMS Academy by increasing their medical knowledge for improved patient care standards.
Please be advised that COM courses are continuing education courses only and are not part of the accredited course offerings at Augusta University.
Cancellation Policy
Application and cancellation fees are non-refundable.
A full refund will be given if cancellation is received in writing prior to the course.
A 50% refund will be given if the cancellation is received in writing during the first
week of the course.
No refund will be given after the first week of the course.
Qualified substitutions are permitted.
No written notice – no refund (except in emergency situations - on a case by case basis).
