Welcome to the Augusta University Libraries

I am excited to welcome you to the Augusta University Libraries. We are here to help you succeed, whether you’re at the Reese Library on the Summerville Campus or the Robert B. Greenblatt, MD Library on the Health Sciences Campus. We also have librarians on hand in Athens with the AU/UGA Partnership, and in Savannah with the MCG Savannah campus.

Our faculty and staff are here to make it easy for you to find what you need, get your questions answered and receive help with your coursework, teaching or research. You can come by one of our libraries in person, or connect with us online to have your questions answered. If it is specific to your major, we have embedded and liaison librarians, who will have knowledge of what you are studying and can help guide you through any research questions you have. 

We are always working to make our libraries more comfortable, useful and accessible for student success. The Creative Technology Lab offers resources such as 3D printers, Cricut makers, and laminators to assist students, faculty and staff with various projects. We recently opened the Greenblatt Market, making sure students have food when other places have already closed. We have updated all of our furniture and study rooms at both libraries to make it easier for students to study, focus, or just hang out.

Currently, we grant access to over 300 databases for research purposes, ensuring that students, faculty, and staff can complete their papers or teach their class without spending a dime. We take pride in our special collections, and are improving online access, so you can explore materials and documents crucial to our community’s history while preserving the physical copies. Furthermore, Reese Library serves as a preservation steward for the Government Publishing Office, meaning it maintains physical copies of essential government documents.
