The dental college is organized into nine departments that offer six degrees and eight certificates.

Endodontics

Providing training and education in the morphology, physiology and pathology of the human dental pulp and periradicular tissues.

General Dentistry

Providing the knowledge and skills necessary to become competent in all aspects of general dentistry by performing a wide variety of clinical procedures enables them to make independent clinical decisions.

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Providing specialized training in the surgical treatment of tumors of the head and neck region, soft and hard tissue trauma of the oral and maxillofacial region, dentofacial and cleft deformities, and basic oral surgical procedures.

Oral Biology

This degree also prepares students for additional advanced study, including the PhD program in Oral Biology and Maxillofacial Pathology.

Diagnostic Science

Combining the technical skill and knowledge of both dentistry, medicine and basic science, our program consists of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology training to prepare students in the diagnosis and management of disorders and abnormalities of the oral and maxillofacial region.

Orthodontics

Training students in the specialty of dentistry that is concerned with the study and treatment of improper bites, which may be a result of tooth irregularity, disproportionate jaw relationships, or both.

Pediatric Dentistry

Teaching dental students the fundamentals of oral health care for children through a series of didactic and clinical courses as well as hands on training through patient care.

Periodontics

Providing periodontal education that enables students to integrate periodontics into a general dental practice-- from comprehensive periodontal examination and diagnosis to overall periodontal prognosis, treatment plan and maintenance.

Restorative Sciences

Preparing tomorrow's oral health care providers to specialize in rebuilding and renewing oral structures by combining treatment planning with the art and science of restorative dentistry.
