One of the greatest strengths of the MCG Internal Medicine Residency Program is the opportunity for fellowship training. Our residents are highly competitive in securing fellowships, whether they choose to remain at MCG or match at other leading academic institutions across the country.
Having these programs on-site provides residents with direct access to fellows and faculty in every subspecialty, fostering strong clinical experiences, mentorship, and research opportunities.
Approximately half of our graduates who pursue fellowship elect to stay at MCG, and every fellowship we offer includes at least one of our own residency graduates. The ability to train here or successfully match at other highly competitive programs is a hallmark of our success and a true strength of our residency.
