The Rotation of the Year recognizes the exemplary work in medical education among
the Pediatric Divisions. The award is chosen each year by the Pediatric Residents
and presented during the graduation celebration in late June.
2026 Rotation of the Year: Palmetto Peds (Aiken)

The Palmetto Peds team in Aiken received the Rotation of the Year for 2026. Residents rotate in Aiken, SC at Palmetto Pediatrics/Aiken Regional Medical
Center, where they gain an academic experience in the setting of a community hospital
and private practice. Rotations include general outpatient clinic, newborn nursery,
& attending high risk deliveries.
2023 Rotation of the Year: Inpatient Subspecialty

The Inpatient Subspecialty Team, which includes the pediatric Hem/Onc and Cardiology
services wins the
Rotation of the Year Award for 2023. Dr. Goldberg and Dr. Wilson representing the 2022 winner from our Aiken
rotation hands off to Dr. Afshin Ameri who represented the Division of
Pediatric Hematology & Oncology.
2022 Rotation of the Year: Aiken

The Aiken team received the Rotation of the Year for 2022. Residents rotate in Aiken, SC at Palmetto Pediatrics/Aiken Regional Medical

The Division of Neonatology wins the Rotation of the Year award in 2020.

The Division of Pediatric Critical Care was the first to win the Rotation of the Year award in 2019.
