The Master of Science in Information Security Management (MS-ISM) program provides a master's level exposure to the knowledge and skills required to protect an enterprise's information assets, educating professionals in information security, governance of IT and risk management.
The MS-ISM program is a 30-hour master’s program divided into six, 3-credit hour core courses, and four electives. All courses are taught online asynchronously, so there is no requirement for students to live geographically near to the university.
The Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) Form I-20 for F-1 student status or Form DS-2019 for Exchange Visitor (J-1) Status cannot be issued by Augusta University for enrollment in this online program per U.S. immigration regulations. "There has been a shift in the culture of believing that only security professionals have responsibility for an organization's information security. In my role as Associate Director of the University IT Customer Experience Team at Augusta University, I feel that it is my responsibility to help educate our customers on this topic. By completing the MS-ISM program, I was able to gain a better understanding of the in-depth concepts required to manage in an information security environment."
