The Georgia Cancer Center Flow Cytometry Resource is equipped with eight flow cytometers categorized into two types. The first type are analyzer flow cytometers that are typically operated by investigators themselves. The second type are cell sorter flow cytometers that are provided as a service to investigators.

For more information please go to the Flow and Mass section on the Shared Resources page.

Flow Cytometers and Laser Lines descriptions if using UV, Violet, Blue, Yellow and Red lasers

Analyzer Flow Cytometers

The facility has a Cytek Biosciences 5-Laser Aurora Spectral Cytometer, one Agilent 5-laser 30-color Penteon, two Agilent 4-laser 25-color NovoCyte Quanteons, one 4-laser 14-color ThermoFisher Attune NxT and a Beckman Coulter Life Sciences 2-laser 9-color CytoFLEX.

Cytek Biosciences Aurora Spectral cytometer [5-laser, 40+ color system]

Cyrek Aurora 5-Laser Spectral Cytometer

With five lasers, three scattering channels, and 64 fluorescence channels, the Aurora can perform from simple to high complexity applications. A paradigm shifting optical design enables the use of a wide array of new fluorochrome combinations without reconfiguring your system for each application. The state-of-the-art optics and low-noise electronics provide excellent sensitivity and resolution.
