Coursework
Students in the Bachelor of Science in Public Health program will complete 120 credit hours of comprehensive coursework. The program is structured into Core IMPACTS (42 hours) and Field of Study lower-division requirements (18 hours), followed by advanced Major Courses (24 hours). In addition, a required Internship and Capstone sequence (6 hours).
The curriculum offers exceptional flexibility, providing 30 credit hours for students to customize their path with an Experiential Major Elective (3 hours) focused on disaster preparedness, community health, or research, and 27 credit hours of Free Electives drawn from interdisciplinary fields like communication, biology, and health informatics.
