Why train in addiction medicine at the Medical College of Georgia

The Addiction Medicine Fellowship is a 1-year fellowship offering robust clinical and research training in the evaluation and treatment of addictive diseases. Our program provides integrated, community-based training across the treatment continuum from withdrawal management, residential, and outpatient settings.

Treatment modalities include medication assisted treatment, motivational interviewing and 12-step recovery. Fellows work as a part of a clinical team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and other mental health professionals.

Detailed Information about the Fellowship is under "About the Fellowship" tab (top-right-hand of the page)
