Rheumatology

Established in 1967, the Rheumatology division offers comprehensive evaluation and management of a broad spectrum of adult and pediatric rheumatological diseases.

Seven full-time adult physicians and one full-time pediatric rheumatologist offer services to patients through the Augusta University Medical Center and Clinics, the Charlie Norwood Veteran's Administration, and the Children's Hospital of Georgia.

A fully accredited rheumatology fellowship is offered through the section of rheumatology and five rheumatology fellows are integral members of our patient care team.
