HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day
June 5: HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day is observed annually on June 5th. The fifth was chosen as it was June 5, 1981 when the CDC first reported “cases of a mysterious disease affecting young gay men.”
Since then, there are millions who have endured love and loss and have grieved through resilience.
Please take this day to take notice and raise awareness of the needs and journeys of those ones who have been living with HIV for 10, 20, 30, and 40+ years.
National #HIVTestingDay is June 27.
No matter how you test, no matter your test results, you can take the next step for your health.
