This is the first of four sessions aimed to address qualitative research. In this lightning session, researchers present their use of various qualitative methods such as interviews, arts-based elicitation, focus groups, ethnography, and content analysis to best tackle their research goals.

Tips & Strategies for Qualitative Researchers Navigating the IRB

This panel discussion addresses solutions for common obstacles faced by qualitative researchers seeking to successfully navigate IRB process. The panel includes Dr. Rhia Morenao moderates a discussion between IRB chair Dr. Steven Page, faculty IRB board member, Dr. Zadinisky, IRB specialist Erin Smith, and faculty researcher Candace Griffin.

Dr. Melissa Powell-Williams presents an overview of the various features and applications of the NVivo Qualitative Software Program including data management, analysis, and presentation of qualitative research.
