Student-Run Clinics
Our student-run clinics provide students with hands-on opportunities to address real-world health challenges in underserved communities. Whether it's organizing health fairs, conducting screenings for chronic diseases, or leading educational workshops on preventive care, students gain valuable clinical experience while making a tangible difference in the lives of others. From volunteering working with migrant farmworkers to organizing free clinics in town, students have the chance to contribute their time and expertise to addressing pressing health needs in our community.
Community-Based Research
Through community-based research projects, students have the opportunity to collaborate with community members and organizations to identify health disparities, develop interventions, and evaluate outcomes. Health Advocacy & Policy
We empower our students to be advocates for health equity. Interdisciplinary Collaboration
We recognize the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing complex health issues. Our students have the opportunity to collaborate with students and faculty from other disciplines, including nursing and public health to develop holistic solutions to community health challenges.
