Radiology Resident Research Projects

commons

Residents at the Medical College of Georgia enjoy a multitude of research opportunities in clinical radiology, physics, and quality improvement. Residents have a 4-week research rotation during their second year of training. Before this rotation, a research project and plan will be worked out with a chosen mentor. Residents are encouraged to identify a project or case study that will lead to an exhibit, a presentation at a Regional or National meeting and publication of an article. Resident research projects may also be presented at the department's Research and Education conferences. Additionally, there are plenty of other opportunities for research. Our faculty strive to provide residents with the means necessary to do as much research work as they desire.

Residents that publish to a major conference in the continental United States are able to attend the conference to present their work with program director approval.
