Overview

Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is a safe and effective treatment for severe mental illness. Our team of ECT providers includes psychiatrists, as well as Anesthesiologists and Perioperative Nurses. Referral Process:

An outpatient visit with one of our ECT physicians will help determine if ECT is right for you. All patients need to be referred by a physician through the call center at Augusta University Medical Center.
