Every year, we review more than 800 applications to find four passionate and promising candidates to begin the transformation from medical school graduate to orthopaedic surgeon. The orthopaedic surgery residency program at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University matches residents through the National Resident Matching Program.

Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program Application
Please submit your application through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) by October 1st. Our orthopaedic residency program selection committee will only consider complete applications that include:
A personal statement
A Dean’s letter
Your medical school transcript
Your United States Medical Licensing Examination
(USMLE) Step 1 & Step 2 Score Reports
Interviews
After reviewing applications, we invite a select number of candidates for interviews.
In person iterviews are conducted at the Medical College of Georgia between November and January. Our program participates in the NRNP signaling process as well as the universal interview offer date.
