Outdoor Recreation offers convenient rentals for bikes, kayaks, and camping gear, making it easy for you to explore the great outdoors. No matter your adventure, we have high-quality equipment available to suit your needs. Our rental services ensure you have access to the best gear without the hassle of ownership. Rental Information

  • All equipment is available on a first come, first served basis. Kayaks can be checked out over the holiday weekend, call for holiday checkout times. 
  • Checkout times: Monday-Friday 10am-4pm. 
  • Return times: Equipment must be returned by 11:00am the next day, or Monday for Friday checkouts. 
  • A late fee of $20.00 will be charged to the student's POUNCE account for each day the equipment is late.

Serene18 Paddle Trail:

The Serene18 Paddle Trail in Columbia County, Georgia, offers a self-guided adventure through 18 square miles of tranquil waterways—including Clarks Hill Lake, Betty’s Branch, Stallings Island, and the Augusta Canal—ideal for paddlers of all skill levels. Participants can collect stamps in a free Serene18 Passport at designated locations, and upon completing all four routes, earn a commemorative T-shirt and official trailblazer status.
