Augusta University's Physician Assistant "Green to Grad" Program seeks to eliminate enrollment barriers unique to veterans by allowing academic credit through the military evaluation program of the American Council on Education (ACE), created in 1942 to recognize the educational value of military training and experience, continuously evaluates military schools, correspondence courses, and occupations to determine the credit amount and level each should be awarded. Veterans can earn academic credit for most military training, including Basic Training. ACE is funded by the Department of Defense and coordinated through DANTES.
Veterans applying to our program can use relevant ACE courses as credit toward the
90 semester hours of prerequisites.
Visit the American Council on Education website for more information.
