Wellness Coaching

Wellness coaching is a free service that provides support for navigating a variety of concerns, challenges and life transitions. Wellness coaching is the collaboration between the coach and the student to identify motivations, values and strengths while creating a map for positive behavior change(s). A coach works with you to maximize your personal and professional potential and helps you focus on achieving of goals that are meaningful for you. Whether it’s being more active, succeeding in the classroom, making connections or other concerns, a coach can help you build a plan to reach your well-being goals.

Ultimately, a coach partners with a student to work towards enhancing their well-being through self-directed, lasting changes that are aligned with their values. A coach’s job is not to provide a treatment plan for you, but to be your ally and resource during your well-being journey. The coach will support you in meeting your goals through accountability, thought-provoking questions, and continuous encouragement!

Every session is tailored to the individual and the goals they pinpoint. Together, you and your coach will formulate a plan that is tailored to your individual values, goals and needs. Discussions will include exploration of short- and long-term vision/goals, well-being assessments, obstacle discussion, brainstorming solutions, and more. Your coach also provides you with an added layer of accountability and support to help you reach your goals.
