Freshman Convocation is the bookend to Senior Graduation. It is the ceremony that welcomes YOU, the Class of 2027, to the Augusta University Family. At this event, you will receive your official Class Pin, Class T-shirt, and take your Class Photo, and have brunch with your future professors and campus professionals. 

Campus Recreation 

6:00 PM- 8:00 PM

This is our signature event and one of the most colorful, feel-good events for Augusta University students! This year's course is a quick, one-mile route. Each participant gets a free T-shirt and a color packet. There will be seven colored powder stations along the way, generously dousing students with color as they make their way to the finish line! We will celebrate the finish of the Color Fun Run with a synchronized color blast and dance into the evening to music provided by a DJ.

Campus Recreation

10:00 AM-8:00 PM

Spend the day on the water! Join the campus recreation team on the shore of Clarks Hill Lake. We need help to facilitate a fun and engaging cookout event at the lake, including: event set-up; grilling hotdogs/hamburgers; assisting with kayak rental; and supervising participants on the water. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

Handshake is the software used by careers services to connect students with their counselors, employers, job boards, and events on campus. Come learn how to effectively use the software to make sure you are getting the most out of your time at AU and with your career development.

IMPACT is a service-led student organization advised by the area of Civic Engagement created in the Fall of 2022. The purpose of IMPACT is to unite students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community with meaningful monthly service projects like Back to School Drives, Hoodies for the Homeless, and Stuff the Stadium. The interest meeting will shed light on the organization requirements and year of events.

MCG' Students and Faculty

MCG's Got Talent is an annual talent show organized for and by MCG students and faculty. The show consist of comedy acts, vocal/instrumental performances, various forms of dances, and art displays. It aims to foster community engagement through the arts and also involves fundraising efforts for the underserved.

Sista Circle provides a space on campus for the experiences of Black Women can be centered, honored, and celebrated. Interfraternity Council

Students interested in joining an Interfraternity Council (IFC) fraternity can do so by participating in the first event of recruitment week: Open House! Come to the Harrison Ed Commons on the Health Science campus at 5 PM and enjoy yard games, food, and a general session that will feature each of our member fraternities and their values.
