Coursework

Our courses focus on the core domains of information security as outlined by the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, while going more in-depth on key topics. The program covers areas such as: human factors in information security, security policy deployment, risk management, and legal issues in information security.

The program is a 30-hour master’s program divided into six, 3-credit hour core courses, and four electives that is taught 100% online.

The nearby Georgia Cyber Center includes incubator/accelerator space for entrepreneurial cyber security companies, research labs, a 340-seat auditorium for public and private events and one of the nation’s few state-owned cyber ranges. This state-of-the-art facility fosters collaboration and innovation in the cybersecurity industry. Admissions Criteria at a Glance

GPA: Overall GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale at the Baccalaureate level calculated on all undergraduate work.

Degree Requirement: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.

Transcripts: Official transcripts are required from all universities and colleges ever attended. Unofficial transcripts from US colleges and universities can be used in the admissions review process in lieu of official transcripts for this program.

Standardized Test Requirements: None are required for this program.

Letters of Recommendation: Recommendations from three individuals must be submitted through the application portal.

Resume: Applicants must submit a resume or curriculum vitae within the application portal.

International Students: Please review the verification process for international transcripts and the english proficiency requirement.
