The Wellstar MCG Surgical Critical Care section provides prompt evaluation and consultation to patients who present to the emergency department with an emergent surgical need. Our board-certified surgeons, trained in acute care, provide patients with a rapid evaluation and treatment plan.

Our state-of-the-art care center includes leading edge diagnostic and therapeutic resources. A fully equipped, rapid response OR, complete with a specialty training staff, is ready to treat patients at a moment's notice.
