Forensic Psychology Fellowship

POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY

Augusta University/East Central Regional Hospital

The fellowship in forensic psychology is offered through a partnership between East Central Regional Hospital (ECRH) and Augusta University (AU).

The 2025-2026 year will be our fourteenth year. We are privileged to be part of the psychiatry department at Augusta University where a high priority is afforded to excellent clinical care and training. The fellowship has two full-time positions available each year and features both outpatient and inpatient forensic evaluation and treatment opportunities, in addition to protected research time and a day devoted to didactic trainings. Trainees will complete competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, and violence risk assessments in an intermediate security state-operated forensic hospital and local jails/prisons.

Please use the "About" drop down menu to learn more about the Postdoctoral Fellowship in Forensic Psychology program. If you have any questions, please feel free to direct them to the Fellowship Director, Dr. Holly Tabernik at htabernik@augusta.edu.
