POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY

Augusta University/East Central Regional Hospital

The fellowship in forensic psychology is offered through a partnership between East Central Regional Hospital (ECRH) and Augusta University (AU).

The 2024-2025 year will be our thirteenth year. We are privileged to be part of the psychiatry department at Augusta University where a high priority is afforded to excellent clinical care and training. The fellowship has two full-time positions available each year and features both outpatient and inpatient forensic evaluation and treatment opportunities, in addition to protected research time and a day devoted to didactic trainings. Trainees will complete competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, and violence risk assessments in an intermediate security state-operated forensic hospital and local jails/prisons.
