AU students join Georgia Legislative Internship Program this session
Three Augusta University students are serving as Georgia Legislative Internship Program interns with the Georgia General Assembly.






The Office of Government Relations works with local, state and federal officials to advocate for the interests and needs of Augusta University and its community. We build and maintain strategic relationships with government stakeholders and inform them about our institutional goals and imperatives. We also monitor and analyze legislation and policy that affect our academic, research and health care missions.

Three Augusta University students are serving as Georgia Legislative Internship Program interns with the Georgia General Assembly.

The state is investing $2 billion more in higher education than when Kemp first took office in 2019.

Following the success of last year's legislative session, Augusta University President Russell T. Keen and the Government Relations team have a lot to celebrate.
