Bio
Dr. Tran Ha Nguyen is dedicated to training and supporting the next generation of public health practitioners. Her research focuses on public health systems and health policy, with expertise in health disparities and equity, immigrant health, chronic disease control and prevention, diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES), continuous quality improvement, clinical laboratory systems, and health information technology. Through teaching, training, and mentorship, Dr. Nguyen emphasizes applied skills, systems thinking, and practice-based learning to prepare students and professionals for effective leadership and service in governmental, nonprofit, and community-based public health settings.
