Teaching Interests

Teaching interests include inquiry-based learning and research literacy, American government and political institutions, and courses aligned with my research in national security and emerging technology (cybersecurity policy, disinformation/information warfare, and surveillance, privacy, and governance).

Research Interests

information warfare/disinformation; cybersecurity, data privacy & AI governance; algospeak and platform communication; political economy; writing center studies; public trust in U.S. intelligence institutions; and nonviolent crime on college campuses.
