Bio

Dr. Hood began his career in research and academia, then spent the next seven years in Indian Health Service and as Dental Director of a non-profit clinic. Following this, Steve spent the next 27 years in private practice, implementing advanced technologies and materials with a digital workflow. He also maintains an active consulting business defending dentists in malpractice cases. Since March 2025, Dr. Hood has been a full-time faculty member at DCG and truly enjoys working with the students.
