Research Interests
My research employs behavioral and functional magnetic resonance neuroimaging (fMRI) methods to study the neural systems that support the extraction of meaning from sensory input (using language as a model system). I am particularly interested in the mechanisms that enable flexibility and plasticity in mapping sensory input onto meaningful information. My questions are motivated by an interdisciplinary approach that applies neuroscientific principles to the intersection of cognitive science, experimental psychology, and speech, language and hearing research.
