Dr. Coule is a 1990 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. She completed her pediatric internship and residency training at the Medical College of Georgia in 1993. Subsequent to that, she completed a Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at MCG in 1996 and joined the PICU faculty in the Department of Pediatrics. Her research focus during her fellowship involved continuous blood gas monitoring and she published her work in Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Coule joined the Emergency Medicine faculty in 2002 and began working in the Children’s Hospital of Georgia (CHOG) Emergency Department. She is presently part time clinical faculty. She remains involved in teaching in the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship. She has an interest in teaching residents in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and resuscitation. She also has an interest in healthcare career advising for the high school age group.
