Dr. Kurt Metzler was born and raised in central Ohio. He attended the Ohio State University receiving his undergraduate degree in 1987 and his DDS in 1991. He completed a hospital based General Practice Residency at the Bethesda Naval Hospital and then served three years as a general dentist with the Navy Seabees. Dr. Metzler entered a prosthodontic residency at the Baylor College of Dentistry receiving his Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master’s degree in 1998. He served a four year tour as the Staff Prosthodontist at the Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota before opening his private practice in Salt Lake City in 2002. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Association of Implantology, International Association of Implantology and the American and Utah Dental Associations. Dr. Metzler is also a staff prosthodontist/consultant at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Salt Lake City.
Dr. Metzler’s private practice is a dedicated prosthodontic specialty office with a special emphasis on implant based treatments in coordination with surgical specialists. Of particular interest is Dr. Metzler’s emphasis on making implant based treatments affordable, predictable and stress free.
